This report includes all the lessons learned, best practices and recommendations identified during these dialogues, which are significant for the wider blockchain community.
The best practices report was presented during a public webinar on the 29th April, in which the Sandbox team shared an overview of the regulatory best practices identified in the second cohort, and answered questions from the audience about the report.
Also being announced during the public webinar was the Most Innovative Regulator Award, awarded by a panel of independent academic experts, Professor Roman Beck (Bentley University, USA), Professor Soulla Louca (University of Nicosia, Cyprus), and Professor Walter Blocher (Universities of Kassel).
The honour is awarded to the following for their exceptional and innovative contributions during the second cohort dialogues:
- ANSSI (French National Agency for the Security of Information Systems, Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information)
- Bank of Spain (Banco de España)
- Bank of Greece (Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος)
- CONSOB (Italian Companies and Exchange Commission, Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa)
- KNB (Royal Dutch Association of Civil-law Notaries, Koninklijke Notariële Beroepsorganisatie)
Congratulations to all the recipients for this fantastic achievement.
We would also like to recognise that the best practices report was the result of the contributions by each of the regulators and authorities that participated in the second round of dialogues. A big thanks to all of the participating regulators and all the use cases who contributed to make these dialogues such a success.
